You Are Here.

My sweet friend, D., over at this is my life talked about "living in the moment" this morning. It was a reminder that I needed. (She also mentioned something about laundry...or, I don't know...something about putting clothes away or something like that...I don't remember that part...ahem.)
But for today, I am going to try to be in the moment. Each and every one. This one. The next one. And the one after that. And I am going to try to be in them in the correct order! I don't want to think about tomorrow...because today is what I've been given. And honestly, today is all I can handle.
So, today it is. I pray that God gives me the wisdom and the peace to make it the best today I can. One foot in front of the other....one thing at a time.
Matthew 6:33-34...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

You and D are so right about living in the moment. I am too. Today anyway. It's a snow day here and this morning before I went to work I walked out in the snow, took a deep breath and found the beauty in the big flakes that were falling around me. Then I had to drive to work in it. That's something I can do without.

as much as i feel like i have so much to teach my kids - they teach me. they don't worry about tomorrow. they live for today. while i know i have obligations and responsibilities, sometimes I just want to play. taking pictures is playing - right?

enjoy this day. love the picture

Plan for tomorrow but live "today". We waste precious time trying to live "tomorrow" now. Can't be done. You'd think we would have that figured out by now. LOL

I've never been able to live in the moment. I feel like for most of my life, I've focused too much on what I should have done X years ago or what I wish my life would be like X years from how. Only recently have I tried to make an effort to live in the moment...but that's one great thing about caring for a garden...you find yourself so focused what is happening right now. It keeps you grounded in a way.

Being in the moment in so freeing as well. It is such a gift that we do not know what the next day brings.
