photo challenge

Photo challenge #3: pick a theme.
I have to say, I really enjoyed this one. It made me think. And challenge myself. It made me look at my photography differently. Rather than just going out and taking photos of whatever grabs my eye, I had to keep in mind one single word: hope.
I had chosen my theme of "hope" the day prior...it just popped into my head as I was driving. And I knew right away. Because I have to say...I needed to change my focus. I needed to focus on hope...and not the trials. I will admit, I wasn't sure I'd find a whole lot of hope with it being winter and all. Trees are bare. Flowere are dying off. Plants are hubernating. But...that's a part of it right? The challenge? So I set out...in search of hope. And I found it...
Hope for growth. Hope for beauty. Hope for strength. Hope for life. Hope for future. Hope for love. Hope. It's everywhere. All you have to do is look for it.

And for the last assignment...visit Carolyn's beautiful blog. Maybe you'll want to join in, too!
Thank you, ladies, for doing such a great job hosting! It's been an amazing project.

Hope! And you could find some -- a lot of it, and good looking, too! -- in winter. That's pretty great. Well done.

I love how your images work together as a grid. Despite the winter weather, there is a richness to the color you've captured. Thanks!

Michelle, this is just fabulous, not only the gorgeous images, but your heartfelt words. You went out into the unknown and came back so very rich. What a cache of beautiful images and don't you love the grid?

Michelle,
You have picked a great theme... it makes beautiful photos even more beautiful when you put the word HOPE as what you see in them... all in the eye of the beholder. I am glad you are part of the project. Have a good week.
Love,
Sarah

i'm late, i'm late....

hope is my favorite word. and plants always remind me of it. how no matter how desolate it gets, they always spring back to life if you are patient.

this was a hard one.....can't wait to see what you do next week!
