We let the girls out into the yard the other night...all at once. We've been letting them out one at a time but never all at once. I was a little nervous...but they did pretty good.
After a while it was time to head back to the hen house. Here you can see me trying my best to get a group photo...and this was the best that I could do.
They were in a hurry to get home!

oh, our chicks freak out when they are not all together. when I see one, I know they are all near.
I use food to get them back in the coop. they all follow me and sometimes they go back in themselves. weird huh
ps. our yard is completely fenced
