There were a lot of bees in the backyard this weekend...busily collecting
pollen and nectar from the lavender and the orange blossoms.
They let me get nice and close.

I'm glad you have lots of bees. There don't seem to be many in my neighborhood. Last year and this year my pear trees bore no fruit. Also, out of a zucchini, summer squash and a cucumber plant, all I got the entire summer were two cucumbers, and there were plenty of flowers all season. I'm thinking I might need to get a hive too. Someday. ;)
