Wednesday in the Word.

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
~ Acts 1:7-8

And isn't this always so much easier said than done?
Yes...
But not impossible.

Remember, God knows what we need, when we need it.
We, on the other hand, don't. We want what we want when we want it.
And what we want isn't always necessarily what we need.

God's timing...it's perfect.
Even if sometimes I think it's a little late. ;)

Great choice for today ~ We just have to learn to "trust in the Lord".....and some things are always easier said than done, so we keep on trying.

Great post! I need to be reminded of God's perfect timing too often even though I know that He is so worth waiting for.

Someone once shared this thought with me, 'God's never early, but God's never late.' Seems fitting since God has perfect timing! Thanks for the reminder. Xo
