Wednesday in the Word

Jeremiah 29:11-14

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

It's been a long couple of weeks. I finally went to the doctor yesterday and found out I have pneumonia and symptomatic asthma. I got the appropriate medications and am finally on the mend. I'm still tired and need to rest and stay hydrated....but I've missed you and didn't want to miss another Wednesday in the Word. I pray this scripture blesses you today...xo

The scripture is beautiful, and yes, I feel blessed reading it...familiar and comfortable...thank you. I am so sorry to hear you are so very sick. For the past two years I have gotten awfully sick in the cold, dismal, month of February. I am trying to baby myself big time in order to fend off illness....I hate being sick. Hope you get better soon. You are blessed as I am with a good man :) God Bless!

beth moore posted today about the "reversal" of this verse...
I know the plans I have for u" says your enemy. "Plans to bankrupt your life & harm u. Plans to take away your hope & your future."

i do NOT want to let satan have his way and i know you don't either. i almost wrote you the other day when you wrote on fb that you had pneumonia. i was gonna say "yippee". but i knew that would make no sense. what i mean is that i am glad they know what you have and you can finally be on the mend.

it is 4:18am ...am i making any sense. so glad that you will be feeling better soon & i know you won't take the ordinary for granted. great to hear from you today.
